1 REIS 17. 8 a 16. A VIÚVA DE SAREPTA O rei Acabe fez tudo que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR, seu DEUS. Então o profeta Elias inspirado pelo Espírito Santo, profetizou a seca sobre a terra, dizendo ao rei Acabe, que nem orvalho nem chuvas cairia sobre a terra. E estas palavras irritaram muito o Rei acabe que passou a perseguir o profeta Elias com a intenção de mata-lo. E realmente toda a população foi atingida pela seca, inclusive Elias, mas DEUS cuidaria de Elias, assim como ele cuida de mim de ti e de todos que servem ao SENHOR NOSSO DEUS em ESPÍRITO e EM VERDADE. O SENHOR disse para Elias se esconder junto ao ribeiro de querite, ainda disse para ele que, os corvos o sustentaria, foi uma palavra muito estranha e muito difícil de compreender, mas em nenhum momento Elias questionou a orientação de DEUS, pois Elias entendia que obedecendo, DEUS estaria no controle cuidando e zelando pela sua vida. Não importa o momento que estamos vivendo, a dificuldade que estamos enfrentando se realmente obedecermos à vontade de DEUS no tempo certo nós veremos a resposta. Agora o SENHOR envia ELIAS para cidade idolatra de Sarepta, onde também havia seca e a nação era governada pela família de Jezabel esposa do rei Acabe que desejava mata-lo , para ser sustentado por uma viúva. Mais Elias estava firmado na palavra do SENHOR que disse para Abrão, que era servo como ele, não temas, Abrão, é como dissesse para mim, para você e para todos os que servem ao SENHOR, não temas meu servo, não temas minha serva pois eu sou o teu escudo ( o teu protetor), o teu grandíssimo galardão. No meio de uma cidade idólatra Elias veria as promessas de DEUS se cumprir em sua vida. Não importa a dificuldade que você está enfrentando no lar, com seus filhos, com sua esposa, com seus pais, com seus vizinhos, com seus colegas de escola ou de trabalho se permanecer fiel e obediente ao SENHOR NOSSO DEUS veremos que o Senhor atenderá as nossas orações, veremos o impossível se tornar possível, veremos as promessas de DEUS se cumprir em nossas vidas. Ao chegar à porta da cidade de Sarepta, estava ali uma mulher viúva e pobre apanhando lenha e ainda por cima vivendo num país idólatra, porém Elias não olhou para aparência daquela mulher, mas ele olhou para o seu coração e espiritualmente ele percebeu que aquela era a viúva indicada por DEUS, pois o seu coração clamava pelo único e verdadeiro DEUS. Elias a chamou e lhe disse: Traze-me, peço-te, uma vasilha de água para eu beber. Elias um fiel servo de DEUS seria ajudado por uma mulher viúva e pobre. Muitas vezes nós achamos que só pessoas com alto cargo ou posição social pode nos ajudar, mais porque o general Naamã que era leproso confiou num recado de uma menina que era sua escrava, mas acima de tudo era serva do DEUS vivo ele ficou curado da lepra, DEUS usa todos que se aproxima dele com o coração contrito e quebrantado. E Elias disse mais para a viúva: Traze-me também um bocado de pão na tua mão. Porém ela respondeu: Tão certo como vive o Senhor, teu DEUS, nada tenho cozido; há somente; um punhado de farinha numa panela e um pouco de azeite numa botija e, vês aqui, apanhei dois cavacos e vou preparar esse resto de comida para mim e para o meu filho; comê-lo-emos e morreremos. Elias lhe disse: Não temas; vai fazes o que disseste; mas primeiro faze dele para mim um bolo pequeno e traze-mo aqui fora; depois, farás para ti e para teu filho. Porque assim diz o SENHOR, DEUS DE ISRAEL: A farinha da panela não se acabará, e o azeite da botija não faltará, até o dia que o SENHOR fizer chover sobre a terra. A viúva tinha todos os motivos para não fazer o bolo para o profeta e até de ficar ofendida, pois estava passando fome e preste a morrer juntamente com seu filho, se não fizesse o bolo os seu vizinhos diriam ela tem razão, até porque ela não conhecia o profeta Elias. Porém quando ela olhou para Elias, ela viu algo mais, pois ela percebeu que estava diante de um santo homem enviado pelo único e verdadeiro DEUS. Os servos do Senhor tem que estar orando todos os dias pela nossa saúde física, pela saúde material, pela saúde financeira, mas principalmente pela nossa saúde espiritual, é tão bom e gratificante para o servo de DEUS, quando a pessoa que não nos conhece diz: vejo que tu és um servo do DEUS ALTISSIMO, quando eles veem JESUS em nossas vidas. A viúva obedeceu as orientações do profeta; Foi e fez segundo a palavra de Elias; assim, comeram ele, ela e sua casa muitos dias. Pela razão humana ela não deveria ter feito o bolo, mas o servo do SENHOR, não vive baseado apenas nas razões humanas, mas ele vive firmado na fé e nas orientações dadas pelo ESPÍRITO SANTO DE DEUS, Por ela ter seguido as orientações do SENHOR, a viúva foi extremamente abençoada, pois quando somos fieis a DEUS, e oramos e rogamos a DEUS em nome de JESUS, o SENHOR supre as nossas necessidades. E a mossa maior necessidade é a de sermos cheio do ESPÍRITO SANTO DE DEUS e a de alcançarmos salvação e vida eterna em CRISTO JESUS. Por isso o servo fiel clama; MARANATA. ORA VEM SENHOR JESUS!

And really the whole population was affected by drought, including Elijah, but God would take care of Elijah, as he takes care of me and all of you who serve the LORD OUR GOD in SPIRIT and IN TRUTH.The LORD said to Elijah to hide by the brook Cherith, even told him that the crows would sustain, a word was very strange and very difficult to understand, but at no time Elijah challenged the guidance of God, as Elijah understood that obeying God was in control of taking care and watching over your life. No matter what time we are living, the difficulty we are facing is actually obey the will of God in time we will see the answer.Now the LORD sends ELIAS for city worships of Zarephath, where he also was dry and the nation was ruled by the family of King Ahab's wife Jezebel who wanted to kill him, to be sustained by a widow. More Elijah was standing on the word of the LORD said to Abram, who was a servant to him, Fear not, Abram, is how to say to me, for you and for all who serve the Lord, my servant fear not, fear not my maid for I am thy shield (your shield), and thy exceeding great reward. In the midst of an idolatrous city Elias the promises of God would be fulfilled in your life. No matter the difficulty you are experiencing at home with their children, with his wife, with their parents, with their neighbors, with their schoolmates or work if you remain faithful and obedient to the LORD OUR GOD will see that the Lord will answer our prayers, we will see the impossible become possible, we will see the promises of God be fulfilled in our lives.At the door of the city of Zarephath, a widow was there gathering sticks and poor and moreover living in idolatrous country, but Elias did not look at that woman's appearance, but he looked at his heart and spiritually he realized that this was the widow indicated by GOD, for his heart cried out for one true GOD. Elias called to her and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a bowl of water I drink. Elias a faithful servant of God would be helped by a widow and poor. Often we think that only people with high office or position can help us, because the more general Naaman was a leper who entrusted a message from a girl who was his slave, but above all a servant of God was alive he was cured of leprosy , God uses everyone who approaches him with the broken and contrite heart.And Elijah said more for the widow: Bring me a morsel of bread in thine hand. But she said, 'As the Lord liveth, thy God, I have nothing baked, only there, a handful of meal in a barrel and a little oil in a cruse, and behold, I am gathering two sticks and prepare that food for the rest of me and my son, we will eat it and die.Elijah said unto him, Fear not going to do what you said, but first do it for me a little cake and bring him out here, then make for thee and for thy son.For thus saith the LORD GOD OF ISRAEL: The barrel of meal shall not waste, the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD makes it rain upon the earth.The widow had every reason not to make the cake for the prophet and even get offended because I was starving and about to die along with her child, if I did the cake her neighbors say she's right, because she did not knew the prophet Elijah. But when she looked at Elijah, she saw something else, because she realized she was facing a holy man sent by the one true God.The Lord's servants must be praying every day for our physical health, the health material, the financial health, but especially for our spiritual health is as good and rewarding for the servant of God, when the person who says we do not know : I see that you are a servant of GOD ALTISSIMO when they see Jesus in our lives.The widow obeyed the directions of the prophet was and did according to the word of Elijah, so he ate, she and her home many days. By human reason she should not have made the cake, but the servant of the LORD lives based not only on human reasons, but he lives grounded in faith and the guidance given by the Holy Spirit of God,Because she followed the guidelines of the LORD, the widow was extremely blessed, because when we are faithful to God, and pray and pray to God in the name of Jesus, the Lord meets our needs.
  And the dent greatest need is to be filled with the Holy Spirit of God and attain salvation and eternal life in Christ Jesus. So the faithful servant cries; MARANATA. ORA COME LORD JESUS!
