JONAS 3-1 to 10 --- JONAS WHEN DECIDED TO FULFILL THE GUIDANCE OF GOD, Nineveh repented from their evil ways.

JONAS 3-1 to 10 --- JONAS WHEN DECIDED TO FULFILL THE GUIDANCE OF GOD, Nineveh repented from their evil ways.

JONAS 3.1 --- Then came the word of the Lord Jonah the second time, saying:

JONAS 3.2 --- Arise, and go to Nineveh, and preach unto it the preaching that I told you.

JONAS 3.3 --- E Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. It was, therefore, an exceeding great city of three days' journey.

JONAS 3.4 --- Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

JONAS 3.5 --- The people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least.

JONAS 3.6 --- For the word reached the king of Nineveh, and rose from his throne, and took from him his clothes, and put on sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

JONAS 3.7 --- He made a proclamation, which was published through Nineveh, by decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, neither cattle nor sheep taste anything or give them pasture, nor drink water .

JONAS 3.8 --- But men and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God, and let them turn every one from his evil way and the violence that is in your hands.

JONAS 3.9 Who knows if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

JONAS 3:10 --- And God saw their works, as they turned from their evil way and God repented of the evil that had said they would, and did not.

Jesus said: Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for those who persecute you, and persecute you. Nineveh was the capital of Assyria, was the dominant power in the Middle East. The Assyrians ruled much of the known world and the nations dominated treated in inhumane and cruel. The people of God had reasons to dislike and fear of the Assyrians. But God is no respecter of persons and want to restore, to retrieve the human being, no matter how cruel he is. Jonah was an Israelite prophet, the son of Amitai, the tribe of Zebulun he received a commission from God, go to the city of Nineveh and cry against it saying, "If they do not repent from their wicked ways, within forty days Nineveh would be destroyed . Jonah would have to have courage to preach this message to a people who are not serving God, a violent and cruel people, a people whom he thought should be punished for their mistakes. Jonah chose to flee to Tarshish, chose to disobey the guidelines of the LORD, bought a ticket to ship in Joppa and embarked for Tarshish. Jonas thought he was simply running away to Tarshish, more in fact he was missing the presence of God. The faithful servant he calls for the presence of God in every decision he has to take over your life. Moses the faithful servant of the Lord said to God: If his presence is not with me do not make me leave here, and God answered: Will my presence with you to give you rest. When we cry out to God praying for the presence of God, the Lord looks down from above and tells us: Will my presence with you to make you relax. The Lord is telling you: I am with my brother, my sister, forget their problems, rest in me, just praise and glory to the Lord, for I am present in your life and in time you will see the glory of God. Jonas chose to go to a distant land, preferred to take a ship and go to Tarshish, and how many servants of the Lord are living in a distant land, not physically or geographically, but spiritually, for, pray hard, difficult to praise and glorify the Lord GOD AND FATHER in the name of JESUS and hardly go to church. But the LORD sent to sea a great wind, and made the sea a great storm and the ship was about to break. To relieve the weight of the sailors began to throw the cargo overboard, and each prayed to their God, but Jonah went to the basement of the ship and slept a deep sleep. The word of God says: Seek the LORD while he may be found, call him while he is near. The ship was sinking and Jonah was asleep. Jonas was having the sleep of indolence, in the fight, the difficulty does not pray, does not seek the Lord. How many times we agreed, through struggles and difficulties, but spiritually we are sleeping the sleep of indolence, without praying, without crying and without seeking the Lord. King David went through many tribulations, but it was more than a conqueror, because he always put his trust in the Lord, so he said in the book of Psalms, "He is my God, my refuge, my fortress and trust. Jonas when asked by the sailors came why such evil, he said: I am Hebrew and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven who made the sea and the dry land, and many people fear God, but is being beaten like Jonah, for the time of difficulty does not put his trust in the Lord. The sailors did not know what to say to him, What shall we do, that the sea is calm? And Jonas said: Pick me up and throw me into the sea, the sea stand still, because I know that for my sake, you this great tempest. The Lord gave guidance to Abraham goes out of your country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house to the land I will show you. FAR thee a great nation, bless thee and magnify thy name, and thou shalt be a blessing. Abraham in obedience to God left everything behind, and followed with his nephew Lot to the direction that God would show you along the path. Because of his obedience Abraham was very blessed. Lot only to walk side by side with Abraham was also very blessed. Jonas disobedience in the direction of the Lord brought the fight to him and to all who were with him. When we disobey the Lord, we bring fights for us and for those who walk or sail with us. OBS.: When we do not do the will of God, until we have achieved with the effort we lose. Jonas for his disobedience spent your money needlessly. Jonah was thrown overboard, and the sea ceased from her raging, but God provided the escape, he ordered a big fish swallowed Jonah. Even Jonah being unfaithful, God remained faithful to Jonas. The first attitude of the servants of God should be to talk to God through prayer, the cry, but Jonas only remembered to pray, to cry unto the Lord when I was in the belly of the fish. The prayer of the servant of God must be, Lord I will not hinder his work, I come to my will, I will not act like Jonah, and even though I do not understand its purpose, I will do your will, which is perfectly good and enjoyable. After the prayer of Jonah, the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah to land. Then came the word of the Lord Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, and go to Nineveh, and preach unto it the prayer that I said. Man says he forgives us, but he's always saying it will give us a second chance, and the excuse is always the same: Who did it once again can actually forgive the man with their lips, but does not forgive the your heart, with their attitudes. But the God we serve in addition to forgive us, always gives us a new opportunity. The guidance of God was for him to preach the message that he went to Jonah, Jonah did not wish to preach or what the people of Nineveh wanted to hear. The message that God said to Jonah was only seven or eight words. Currently, if a preacher under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, preach a message in worship with only seven or eight words, many brothers will say: This message has no beginning or middle, or end. Others say: He began to shout at the end. Iran still say: If he did not shout, why not give chance to another preacher. But when we preach guided by the Holy Spirit, the word of God never returns empty, and in time we will see the fruits of the message. Jonas ran the city for three days, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown (destroyed). In view of the message preached by Jonah, Nineveh believed in God, from largest to smallest, until the king was achieved by the word of God. The king took off his clothes, dressed in sackcloth and sat in ashes (it was a custom of the time to demonstrate his repentance). The king also proclaimed a decree that all citizens of Nineveh should be dressed in sackcloth and fasting (including animals), pray to God and turn every one from his evil way and from his wickedness. The Pharisees and their scribes asked Jesus: Why do you eat and drink with publicans and sinners? Jesus said to them: The sound does not need a physician, but the sick. Not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. The Will of God is that all people are saved, so he sent his son (Jesus) to the world to save us and liberate, died on the cross for our sins but rose again and is alive. Healer, who delivers, who converts is the Holy Spirit of God, but God uses us as instruments in carrying out his work. Just as God used JONAS, he wants to use you in his plan of salvation and eternal life in Christ Jesus. And God saw their works, as they turned from their evil way and God repented of the evil that had said they would, and did not. For God to be important to our past, our past is important to the Lord, Paul would not be a servant of the Lord, the more an Apostle. Important to God is that we are deeply sorry, because a broken and contrite heart does not despise the LORD OUR GOD. The desire for God and Jesus to enter our home, and because of our behavior it can say the same thing I said to Zacchaeus: Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost. So the cry is MARANATA, THE LORD JESUS COME!
